House organ of the Fillmore Music House, Cincinnati, subtitled "Everything for the Band and Orchestra." Twenty-four pages advertising new band and orchestra music with sample conductor parts printed in full, followed by the firm's popular dance list and twelve pages of instruments and accessories. New releases in this issue include marches by Neil Brooks, John N. Klohr and Irvin C. Hamilton, Henry Fillmore's novelty "Comin' Round the Mountain," and a Buddhist processional by Harry Schnicke.

Teachers' Price List of Music Books and Studies, S. Brainard's Sons Co.

Sixteen-page teachers' price list issued by The S. Brainard's Sons Co. of Chicago, dated September 1, 1891. Lists roughly 320 music books, studies and folios in 57 sections, from piano methods and violin studies to Sunday-school books and singing-class manuals, each with retail price, teachers' price and postage. Brainard gave teachers 50 per cent off retail on American sheet music, and the list covers both the firm's own publications and those of other houses it stocked.
